Newly installed mural commissioned by the City of Smithers WV for the Gateway center. The painting reflects Smithers' history and its place as gateway to the national park and other outdoor recreation. Made possible by the Tamarack Foundation for the Arts.

The idea of the painting was to have this kind of “history frame” of black&white imagery that represents the history of the area and is also referencing the black&white photos that hang in the Gateway center as well.
Thanks to all those that helped make this project happen.
